OF ACTIONS FROM OUR YOUTH LEADERSHIP NETWORK CONFERENCE CALL: - Draft CAN letter of introduction for schools and groups to provide an organization overview and share the programs
we offer and/or encourage. (DM)
- Identify contacts in schools that we could discuss the idea
of Youth Buddy System (AD)
- Identify appropriate contacts in your school that CAN can reach out
to who may be responsible for community outreach (all)
- Determine what else is need to kick off
the Community Garden Project to encourage partnership between seniors and youth (BT)
- Look into
possibility of students earning extra credit or community credit for participation in our programs during the summer (DM)

On Tuesday, January 5th, we conducted a thorough review of the analysis provided
by the Children's Defense Fund. Our focus was on their Cradle to Prison Pipeline. This included a discussion on our preliminary
